Since we first opened our doors on November 20, 2020, we’ve grown alongside our community, offering a place to gather, discover, and dive into new worlds through the pages of a good book.

Founded by three close friends, The Next Chapter Bookstore began as a leap of faith, opening during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, they poured their hearts into creating a bookstore that would offer comfort, curiosity, and connection when the community needed it most. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our patrons, we were able to expand to our current location at 201 E. Pike Street less than a year later.

Now under the ownership of Andrew and Betsy Owen since September 2023, The Next Chapter Bookstore remains true to the founders’ original vision while looking forward to an exciting future. Whether you’re here to browse our shelves or simply relax in our welcoming atmosphere, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our story.
